BIOGRAPHY

私の作品において、自然は重要な要素である。
野に咲く草花や太陽の光、吹き渡る風までをデザインし作品を制作する。
ガラスは熱すれば溶け、自在に形を変えるが、
ステンドグラスにおいては板状のガラスを一枚一枚切り、
個々のガラスの色あいや質感の違いで自身のイメージした世界観を表現する。
冷たく硬いガラスという素材を使い、柔らかく暖かな作品を作り出すことが
私の目的である。

“Nature is my inspiration”
Fields of flowers, rays of sun, a gentle breeze, are all part of the designs for my work. Glass, when in a molten state molds freely into any shape, but with stained glass, individually cut pieces of colored and textured glass are carefully selected to piece together a constellation of imagination.
In my process of creation I strive to transform the cold, hard pieces of glass into small universes full of warmth and softness.
